For over 36 years The Florida Manatee Festival has celebrated Crystal River’s most famous resident, the manatee! With incredible food, top-notch music & entertainment, and over 25,000 residents and visitors attending each year, The Florida Manatee Festival is consistently chosen as the Best of the Best festival by the readers of The Citrus County Chronicle.
What can you expect at the festival?
For a nominal charge, Manatee Boat Tours are available along with guided kayak tours. Both additional options offer experienced local guides taking you on a trip into Kings Bay and other favorite manatee hangouts.
Back on land, the sound of music fills the air with live entertainment on two different stages, while visitors enjoy the offerings of fine arts and craft artisans. A beer & wine garden and food court will be serving up a wide menu of delights; from fresh seafood to authentic, local BBQ and everything in between.
The Florida Manatee Festival also serves as a showcase for non-profit organizations and local commercial businesses that serve as the foundation of our community giving you a true taste of Citrus County.
